Paint Me Spring brought a small group together for an unhurried afternoon of tote bag painting at Meadows Park in Redmond. The idea was simple: offer the materials, make the space feel welcoming, and let everyone follow their own visual instinct.
The best part was seeing how differently each person approached the same blank surface. Some began with florals, some with pattern, and others let the first color decide what came next.
What the afternoon held
We painted, traded ideas, and made room for conversation between brushstrokes. It was beginner-friendly by design; the gathering was about curiosity rather than arriving with a finished plan.
This was an early chapter in the Art of Little Things craft-club story, and a useful reminder that a creative event does not need to feel intimidating to feel meaningful.
